IT sucks that the picture gallery doesn't work!
Thats like the best part of this site.

Yeah, I tried looking at different audio setups in the galleries, but all the pictures are thumbnail sized or don't show up at all...

I still find the gallery very helpful, so it'd be great if you don't get rid of the pictures in there. Maybe you can make that section read-only if you want people to use the appropriate picture subforums, instead?
Personally, as a fairly new owner who is trying to emulate what others have done, I find very convenient browsing through the gallery. However, if the admins decide it's not practical to keep the gallery, I understand.
