Can't post or start threads?

Why is this the only section that allows me to reply to people and post threads? Is there a rule or something? Very irritating.

I'm guessing you were trying to post in the marketplace, as a new member that's the only place you can't post. Take a look at this announcement, it outlines the rules for posting in the marketplace:

I'll admit that section is a bit confusing. The general coupe section is closed and there are only really old threads left in there. You can post in the G Spot -> Coupe -> G35 Coupe section.

If you can post a link to the thread you're trying to reply to I can move it into the open coupe section.

thanks for clearing that up, but why would they close it? doesnt that defeat the purpose of a forum?

The general coupe section is now a category, not a forum. The sedan section is setup the same way.

Before they created the myG37.com forum (actually before they announced that it was going to be a 3.7L), they split the coupe section into 2 subforums. One for the 2003-2007 G35 coupe and the other for the 2008+ G35 Coupe (G37).

Some time just before (or possibly soon after) the official launch date for the G37, the owners of the site decided to launch a separate forum for the G37 and they left links to the new forum in the original coupe section.
