How do you clean the plasma screen?

OK, somebody put fingerprints on my Hi-Def Plasma TV screen

How do you clean yours?

I have read that you should use damp (water only) cotton or micro fiber towels.
  • Never use a damp cloth
  • Never use Windex or similar products
  • Some advertised "Made for Plasma" cleaners are in fact not safe.
  • Sometimes it is OK to use a mild soap.
  • A lot of people swear by non-alcohol baby wipes
  • Never use soap
  • Never use baby wipes

What's your MO?

i'm just gonna go out on a limb here and assume that you shouldn't really try cleaning your plasma while the screen is hot. I don't know about you but they sure emit a lot of heat. I have a 42" sitting in my room (about 12'x13') and if I have everything close it gets a little warmer in the room if I leave the TV on.

read this month's playboy advisor, they have tips on how to clean them. But basically they suggest a microfiber cloth and gentle force. ONly use a cleaner if you really really need to.

Thank's, I'll be sure to read that. So far I have used a micro cloth and no solutions at all.
