After the accident my husband decided to cheer me up by taking the boat out for a spin

Sea Doo's are great Performance wise! However they are sketchy with reliability. Lets just put it this way, we have been through 7 sea doos in the past 2 years. All of which blew up except for one. They are loads of fun but not worth it if all you want is reliability. Yea stay away from Polaris wave runners. Go with Yamaha and you won't be disappointed. Also, the Sea Doos will give you a bath when you ride them. The Yamahas keep you dry for the most part. I am one to get wet so I do not mind that.
