Best Beers In The World

In your opinion, what country makes the best beers in the world? Now I know that I can't possibly list every country giving that I've only got 10 choices, but out of the countries listed, what country do you feel makes the best tasting beers.

For me, it's very close between Belgium and Ireland.....but I think I have to give my vote to Belgium. Canada would be third on the list for me.

Edit: I meant to choose Belgium instead of Ireland.

this is a difficult one, but i picked Belgium. Only because I have too many favorites from there..

Watou, Leffe, Tripel Karmeliet, Maredsous, Saint-Feuillien, and best of the best.. Hoegaarden

Of the counties I listed, the US is definitely in last place for me. I can't say I am a fan of US beer at all in general. Sam Adams is a fantastic beer though.

It's interesting to see a few other Belgium beer fans here though. In general, European beers are best in the world.

Shane,

Can we include microbrews, or just the big boys?

I didnt include them, but if we did.. US takes the cake.

I didn't mean to offend the moose knuckles up north, I wanted to throw the US in there as well. I just feel that all the commercial beer made in North American Continent tastes like R-Kelly shower liquid.
