What gun do you keep by your bedside?
So what do you guys keep for your bedside gun? I guess the scenario is, you hear some one breaking into your house in the middle of the night. What do you grab first?
Just curious, as I am setting up my shotty right now for HD. I keep a springfield XD9 loaded with +P JHP CAR-BON 125gr in my nightstand and my winchester 1300 defender speed pump with 00 buck in the corner closest to me. buckshot & 300 lumens to the face of any badguy who drops in uninvited.    So what do you guys use?? pics please?

My safe with my three full-caliber handguns, Sig 229, Glock 27, and S&W 340PD is about four feet from my bed.
Mossberg secured in a proprietary lock in my closet 10' away w/ 7 in the tube, empty chamber. I'll take the 229 and a surefire if I'm leaving my bedroom, and use the Mossberg if I barricade myself in there.

Gun at your bed, why??? . Heck, I don't even lock the doors much of the time. I am so glad I don't have to go to bed at night worrying about stuff like that.

I have a lock box by my bed that has my Sig Sauer P228 loaded with Hydra-Shock rounds
 If I can make it to my closet, I'm getting my Remington 870 Tatical.  But if all else fails, I always have my Ka-Bar handy

Ohhh now all these guns look Lovley...
The Glock 27, Sig 229 & Mossberg seem like better alternatives to the Makarov

I keep my xd40 with hydra shocks close, if I make it to the closet you are done for, ak47, remington 12 ga, ar15 which ever one I can see to grab the fastest.
