no pics but I have a 10/22 w/ folding stock, flash suppressor/muzzle brake and barrel shroud. another 10/22 w/ carbon barrel (it was on sale), synthetic stock, bipod and scope, for what it is (and cost) it's a tack driver. a pre-ban tec22 w/ threaded barrel and an eternally broken firing pin

favorite plinker is an old Sears (Winchester) Bolt action 22, the best shooting 22 I own.

yea, I like 22's

I just finished my very first 10/22 build... =)

SPECS:
Ruger standard 10/22 carbine
S&K Anschutz thumbhole stock
Green Mountain 17.5" Fluted muzzle weighted .920 barrel (painted flutes satin black)
Polished inside of receiver, all bolt surfaces, hammer & sear, charging handle & rod, mag catch plunger thingie, trigger reset, etc...

Handloading

Good idea to switch to .22s with ammo market the way its been. I have been handloading 9's, 7.62s and 5.56s with a friend for the past few years. The initial investment for the machine is a few hundred, but in the long run, even with the cost of used brass, powder and slugs you'll get your money back.
