Planning to Buy G35 and Twin Turbo... Any advice
Hello everyone, I'm new here. Buy September/October I plan on purchasing an 04/05 G35 and having a Twin Turbo installed at the dealership. Any advice would be highly appreciated..thanks!

+1 you would be better to bring it to a race shop with better knowledge and it should also be cheaper

yes.. prehaps you guys are right... I've talked to them and they said they can do it, yet there is no warranty on the service!!!! So maybe a specialized shop might be a little safer?

where do you live? i'm sure theres a shop near you that can do a TT install

If you're gonna do it and you want to do it right be prepared to spend some big money.

I see you live up this way... make sure you have a winter car if you're going to get a G and TT it.

buy one with a TT already IMO. It will be way cheaper and less time without the car.

I'm quite aware of the cost it will take to Twin turbo the G. I work for the dealership. So I only pay $500 over the list price of a vehicle... With the extra couple grand i'll be saving, I plan on throwing that into a TT.. or Single Turbo.. but.. Why get single when you can get a Twin.
But.. to be honest, I Think i'ma hold off on the Twin Turbo Idea until maybe next spring. That way I can get comfortable with the G before I decide to go along with the TT setup. And yes I do plan on buying a winter beater...as RWD isn't a great vehicle to manuver here during the New England winters. On another note.. I REALLY want a turbocharged vehicle.. I had my dreams set on a EVO 8 or 9 for the last couple of years.... But I recently discorverd the G35... Although this may be a silly question to ask on this forum, but do you guys think I might possible be better off with the EVO?... or Stick with the G?
