Shops around Toronto...
I've seriously been considering boosting my G35 lately, however with all the searching I've been doing on what needs to be done, and what to expect in terms of costs, I've (surprisingly) yet to stumble upon a reputable shop around the Toronto area that specializes in our cars, even though there seems to be many good options south of the border. Does anyone know of any? Are there any forums members around here that have had their G35s boosted and live in or around Toronto? Hopefully you can share some of your experiences!

There are none... I don't trust anyone anymore, I do it all myself.

Thanks for the info. I actually tried going to the site, but it seems to be one of those spammy domain parking pages. I tried Google and came up with: http://www.sg-motorsport.com/main.html. They're located in Brampton, are these the guys you're talking about? They seem like they would know what they're doing, and the shop owns a few 350zs, so they obviously have some experience on our motors. I'll definitely check them out. |

That's awesome... unfortunately an engine build, FI install/tune is way out of my skill level right now. I mostly stick to the small things like oil changes, breaks, and other light maintenance/mods. Have you installed your own turbo or supercharger? |

Yes, it's not that hard. Just a lot of commen sense, lots of time and patience and some tools and anyone can do it. BTW, I'm not a mechanics....

Sasha at SG Motorsports in Brampton is awesome. He has tons of experience with VQ's (he owns a roadster and 350Z Grand Am KONI Challenge race car), plus he won the Canadian Touring Car Championship last year in his turbo S14. The dude knows his ish! He's done a fair bit of work on my G35 so I can say from first hand experience that he's very meticulous, plus he's got the U2Ndyno.com dyno at the shop and is an excellent ECU tuner.
