Vortech REVUP Full Kit Install *Task Division and Game Plan*

So I've went through and read all the great stuff that sentra wrote in the Vortech FAQ.

I've read all the instructions once over for the install.

Any tips from anyone so far as the install goes though? So far as what order to do things and how to optimize my time?

I'm paying a local mechanic to help me and so I can use his shop. I have him, myself, and 1 friend.

What do you think is a good way to divide up the tasks to get this done the most optimal way? I was thinking 1) Mechanic guy works on the oil pan 2) I work on getting the ECU and wiring that up 3) My friend works on getting the piping all hooked together and the bracket all lined up.

Also, does anyone know if the supercharger belt replaces my engine's drive belt? I went into the dealer this w/end and they told me my drive belt needed replacing but I wasn't sure if the supercharger would replace it so I said let's hold off on doing it. If so then I'll ust go ahead and do that while I've got everything off the car and access to the belt.

THANKS!.

EDIT: ALSO...

Has anyone had any trouble with the vortech full kit on a revup motor running no upgraded pulleys or anything?

I got a warning from a shop in Texas that running the full kit was basically guaranteeing me a blown motor and that my fuel injectors would undoubtedly fail resulting in a blown bottom end.

My plan is to run the stock vortech full kit for the revup along with my MD spacer / MREV / Nismo Headers / Nismo Exhaust.

I may later down the line decide to get an oil cooler as a safety precaution.

Does anyone have any info or experience on this?

If you've got the vortech full kit have you guys run a lot of miles on them without problems of blowing your engine?

Thanks for easing my worries or confirming them. Either way I need to know what I'm up against.

RTV on fittings? no thanks...use RTV red on the oil pan when you're re-installing it.

It's not necessary to use threadlocker on all your fittings. Maybe a select few, but not everything...waste of time and no need to be paranoid like that.

make sure the oil feed line has no kinks, also the return line no kinks.

Yes the supercharger will come with a new drive belt that is longer.
pull the oil pan of while drilling the hole for the return, and use grey or red no big difference.

sont worry about the piping except for the one that goes behind the blower inbetween the a/c the other pipes will fall into place.

IMO I would ditch the ems and get a utec or fcon but that is up to you. If you are gonna keep it go slow and solder all connections with heat shrink.

^ no more oil feed line and return line with the V-3 self lubricating supercharger.

I am going ot go ahead and change my AC Compressor belt and spark plugs while our nice mechanic is in there.
