he red lighted also. I should have won. I raced him 3 or 4 times that day I won a couple times because I would get out the gait faster and he would have to catch me at the end , but he did catch me with all that extra hp. He was 400 to the wheels. I think I'm about 330whp.

400whp on a greddy kit on most cars isn't impressive when they have wimpy tires - what size/type tires is the greddy car running? Also you have to launch a turbo car a little differently than you would the stillen.

On another note, has anyone actually gotten the stillen kit to go over 350whp with their car in any way shape or form with any other combination of mods except nitrous?

hmm odd, something is weird when a 400whp TT Z with slicks can't outperform a 330whp stillen G35 on street tires. Did his misshift or something?

What's the deal with that vortech vs stillen video? Where you guys racing yourselves or each other? The silver car didn't even leave until 2 sec later

I'll let you know about the 3.91 when I get my car tuned. I'm breaking in my new ATS clutch right now so I can't go WOT to get tuned. I'm not sure if it'd be a good mod for a stillen SC or not - might hurt your launch, but make up for it with speed in the other gears. It seems to be a good match up with a vortech SC and some good tires

the vortech I raced would have been a great race because all was equal. same tire setup full interiors, Etc. But we both drove like crap. Ive wanted to race a vortech ever since I got my stillen due to the ripping it gets from alot of vortech people. Like its a piece or something. I get the chance I get excited and I red light. Dam!!! He sits there like for ever so its a terrible race. but yet there it is.

This is a stickied thread for reporting info that is mentioned in the first post. If it doesn't relate to this thread, take it outside of this thread. Thank you.

We will just use Toptooneone's videos as his 1/4 mile time since both videos you can clearly see his time.

Do you guys think buying a used Stillen is safe? I may get a stage III off a member here with the hood included. It has 2K on it and he claims no problems. He said it was installed in Feb 06 on his car by Stillen in Costa Mesa.

1. Year of Vehicle
2. Make of Vehicle (coupe vs. sedan)
3. Transmission (6mt vs. auto)
4. Size of Rear Wheels (19x8)
5. Horsepower at Wheels
6. Torque at Wheels
7. Type of Dyno used
8. Which stage of SC you have
9. Other upgrades to enhance or hinder the SC (Headers, Exhaust)
10. If you have 1/4 mile times and mph. Great!!!

If you don't have all of this info, that is ok as long as you at least have the HP and TQ #'s.

If you have dynos of your SC in different stages please post that as well.

I just purchased my Stillen Stage II SC and it will be here in 2 weeks. As soon as it is installed, I will post my info as well.

Jon

2003 G35 Sedan 5AT
Stillen Stage 3
No dyno numbers with stage 3, but stage 2 hit 287 while running lean.
Since then I have a larger fuel pump and stage 3 pulley. Its quite a bit more powerful now than when I hit 287. Will get it dynoed again soon.

Upgrades to compliment the SC.
Stillen Valve Body Upgrade
Electric Fan Conversion
Walbro 190lph Fuel Pump
B&M Tranny Cooler

275/30/19 rear tires. Good traction, but can easily light them up when you turn VDC off.

Almost 10k miles now since installing the SC. No problems.
