Pricing on FX45

I'm interested in leasing a 2008 FX45 and am curious about what price I should expect... I am planning on a base FX45, and know about the 5000 down and 530 per month for 42 months. I am hoping to lower the price to at least 500 per month. Does it give a significant pricing aid if I currently lease a 2005 G35x? I would greatly appreciate any sharing of current lease prices and lessee experiences. Also, does the Fx45 take any less than premium unleaded?

Well, now that you mention it... The 35 could also be a good option. Does anyone know if there is a significant performance difference? Also, does the 45 only take premium unleaded, and how about the 35? If I do decide to get the 35, does anyone know how I can find the rims on the 45 and those chrome accents? Thanks for all the help.

you can prob get the rims done through infiniti but not sure. You really woudent need the 45. Its a suv the lease option on the 35 is so good you should go with it.

PERFORMANCE: The stock performance for the FX35 is 280 hp, and the FX45 is 320 hp. The V8 feels quicker, but it has lower fuel economy. But if you are interested in modifying your FX down the road, there are lots of aftermarket options for the FX35 because it has the same engine as the G35 and 350Z. There aren't many engine mods for the FX45.

FUEL: The FX45 requires premium fuel, whereas the FX35 recommends it for "optimum performance". I use midgrade (89 octane) in my FX35 and it runs perfectly fine.

WHEELS: If you are referring to the 20-inch wheels that come standard on the FX45, you can also get those on the FX35 with the Sport Package. I was under the impression that the chrome trim came on ALL of the 2006+ FXs, regardless of engine size. And if you get the Sport Package on the FX35, it also comes with the clear tail lights like the FX45.

The chrome window trim along with power folding mirrors and the aluminum/rosewood center console are only available on the 45. All 35s have black window trim and some form of aluminum interior trim (flat trim on the non-Sports and etched trim on the Sports).

You're correct about the clear tails though. They're standard on 35 Sports and 45s while 35 non-Sports make do with red tails. And in case you're wondering, the clears were first put on '05s, not '06s.

Hope that helps.

Almost Time

Sorry I haven't posted recently, but it is reaching the time I am about to get serious about looking at my options, my lease is up in a few months and should start actually hitting the dealers. I'll head to Manhattan Infiniti one of these days and see what deals I can get, I assume that I can find some sort of good deal, as this is the year before a redesign. I'll try to keep you guys posted and see what kinds of deals I could get. I am also interested in the ex, but the size seems to be a bit of a concern, and the release date is cutting it close to my lease termination. Thanks for all your help and suggestions.
