Thinking Of Buying An FX, Couple Questions

I am looking at trading in my 05' G35 coupe on an 06' FX35. I was wondering if any of the parts from the G will fit on the FX? I have a Fast Intentions exhaust, Motordyne plenum and spacer, and JWT popcharger and Z-tube.
I tried to search but couldn't find much info, other than that I don't think the Z-tube will fit.

yes you can use your FI exhaust on the FX w/ small modification to the tips to extend them out.

plenum spacer will work along w/ the popcharger and z-tube.

i had an injen from a coupe fit in there w/ small modification -- had to add an extra bushing by the engine bolt so it sat at the right height.

So, just the tips would need to be extended a little? I figured the plenum and spacer would fit fine.

Thanks, maybe I will e-mail Fast Intentions and see if they know. Either that or I will just sell it.

The FX and the G coupe wheel bases are the same. The difference to fit the exhaust will be how long the tips are. Are you getting a RWD or AWD? I don't recall the front pipe design of the Fast Intentions but some exhausts will have issues with transfer case clearance.

AWD, fully loaded. I called FI and they said that some of their customers have said it will fit, but they have not actually tried it.

I drove it last week and fell in love with it. Plus it has so many features my G doesn't. I have a 2005 fully loaded coupe, but the stereo display sucks, no bluetooth, no rearview camera, no I-key. The FX is a 2006 and has the nice stereo display that is in the NAV screen, and has all those other features.

Only thing it doesn't have is the flip down roof mounted dvd player. I don't plan on having kids so I really don't care about that.

Everything should fit just fine! only thing you might have a problem with is the FI exhaust, because it is true dual, im not sure if the H-pipe will clear the AWD housing....

I got everything off the G except the plenum and spacer (didn't have the old bolts or the time to do it). I will have to test fit the exhaust. If it won't clear it then I will have to sell it.

i just went from a 350z to an FX last Tuesday. Man was I upset, but after driving this FX all week im pretty happy, All the pros outweight the cons, and my popcharger fits perfectly since its the same engine. You shouldnt have an issue at all.
