In the 2007 Sedan

Its a daily problem. I am heavily medicated to overcome my problem of stomping the gas pedal. Sometimes I get out of the car and wonder how the hell I am still in one piece. The sedan is a constant reminder that I should of bought a Prius to keep my speed addiction under control.

My incident was dumb, but I pulled it off beautifully!

I was turning left onto a street home, down shifted to kick the *** out a bit, did a 180, stopped in the left of two lanes going the opposite direction next to a car in the right waiting for the light to turn green(perfectly parallel!). I glanced over at their horrified faces, winked, waited for the light to turn green, and turned left to play it off like it was intentional.. Then proceeded to drive to the drug store to buy leather cleaner in order to get the sh1t stains out of my seat haha!

They say you drive worse drunk.. Well, at least I can make it look good..

haha awesome story jose. im buying you scion badges.

well lets see, where to start...

- test driving with the vdc off and almost losing control (first rwd car ever).
- hitting 145 numerous times in different states, first time i took a pic with my cell phone.
- messing around with friends tsx, flooring it over a drawbridge, hit a construction dip right before and going airborne, landed on metal and slid a bit, shocks still work great.
- downshifting to 1st on the dragon and car spun to the right looking at trees before i regained control.
- 120+ in 55 construction numerous times.
- 100+ in 45 construction numerous times.

well thats about all i can think of for now. 3 years going and i still drive it like i stole it.

Doing 100+ down I-20 towards Atlanta at night. Saw headlights coming up behind me, thought it was a hot rod wanting to race, so i floored it. Dude stayed on my ***. Seconds later, the 2 headlights were joined by flashing red and blue lights. Bastard was a cop, in a f@$ing dodge charger. Clocked me doing 107 in a 70. 6 points, $300 ticket!! (this was in my jetta btw, sorry. just had to share)

expect it to survive a montreal winter....

combination of getting into and out of parking spots (aka 6' snowbanks), driving through 3 foot piles of snow left across the road, more potholes than road, sliding into curbs and snow banks... i'm glad only the bushings wore out... (and a few dents in my rims...)

lotta fun, but it ain't no ford (as my boss likes to say), i really shoulda kept the vic as a beater...

Thumbs down Stupid GPS

Well I think I have everyone beat. This pass weekend I was in Western MA and was lost and my GPS had me go down a dirt road. At first it doesn't sound bad but after about 5 mins the dirt road turned into a 4 wheeler path (and there was no room to turn around). So I ended up driving through the middle of the woods on a 4 wheeler path....it was not fun. I was lucky that I didn't bottom out and escaped with no scratches. I was not too happy with the GPS. I am not sure why it thought the path was an actual road. The worst part was when a couple of 4 wheelers had to pull over to let me through.

Since I was speeding in the first place and I was about 50 feet away from the light I got confused.. (If I stop I look like and idiot and I will probably squeel the tires).. If I floor it and go my suspension will eat sh1t.. **** it! I dropped to 3rd and gunned it.. the G screamed and pulled really hard. There I am in a bumpy a$$ intersection, I hit a big bump and I went slighlty airborne ( going about 65-70 mph). G hits the road and took the drop really really smooth to my surpirse.. Not even a scrape!

?
This sounds like every day driving.

Mine def has to be gunning it down a dark dirt road in reverse and slaming into a pole. Fun ****!

so i was cruising down a twolane back road with cow pastures on both sides. i had just gotten my g and was ripping it. i was doing about 130 in fifth gear and went to throw sixth hard and fast. i missed, threw fourth. My engine redlined rears locked up and i nearly lost it before sinking the clutch and going to neutral. just another testimate to the vq engine and all i can say is im thankful we all have titanium valves or i woulda been f***ed!!!
