Tomorrow is going to be a busy day!!!

Today was like Christmas in April at my house. The Fedex and UPS drivers are my new best friends. They dropped off some of the parts that I've been waiting for so I can get my modding started this weekend. Here is what came today:

Tein CS coilovers
Tein EDFC
SPC front and rear camber kits
Hotchkis front and rear swaybars
Mrev2
5/16" Iso Thermo Spacer
NRG Hood dampers
KP Technologies deluxe mirror tilt modules

I'm still waiting for the following parts that I guess I'll install next weekend:

FI catback exhaust
Z Tube
Amsoil air filter
Gorgee grounding kit
Talilight and third brake light overlays

and last, but not least my Alliance BBK, but that won't be here for a few more weeks.

A couple of pics of my work bench loaded with parts. I'm just like a kid at Christmas.

Holy crap, that is a lot of mods in a short amount of time

Very nice

Here are some recommendations for more mods:
-High Flow Cats for your FI exhaust
-06 projectors
-Front lip
-Rims
- Turbo or if you are staying NA, 4.083 FD gears.
- Tune

Very nice, are you gonna take off the side moldings and debadge it?

1-I need to still pass inspection. Can I do that with the highflow cats and if so what benefits will I see from them?
2-My wife has projectors with HID's in her Murano and I have to say that I don't like them at all. I prefer the light pattern of the standard reflector housing.
3-Thinking about a full kit. I like the Kenstyle front, but not sure about the rest. Plus I need to pay for some of this stuff first. LOL
4-Just put rims on it this week
5-I can't do any FI. I drive over 40k per year and I don't think there are any kits that will be reliable for that kind of driving. Unless I'm wrong in which case by all means let me know.
6-I'm planning on doing the Osiris tune one I get everything done.

Here is a pic of the car with the wheels installed this week:

I am the biggest picture taker you'll ever see. I just uploaded a bunch of pics and will post them here in a few minutes.

Well even though it took longer then I thought I got just about everything done today. The only thing I didn't do was the Tein EDFC. I'll do that next weekend. Here's what got done today.

Front & rear swaybars
Front and rear camber kits
Tein CS coilovers
MREV2
5/16" spacer

I couldn't do the rear Toe bolt because I didn't have the tool at home to elongate the rear hole so I'll do that next weekend. Plus I'll also be doing my exhaust so it will be easier to drill that hole out with the exhaust out of the way.

I found it odd that when installing the MREV2 and spacer that MD tells you to discard the stock plenum gasket. Without it I think that some oil vapor will get into the intake, but I did it according to the instructions anyway. I sent an email to Tony asking him, so I'll see what he says about it. Below are some pics from today.

Installation of MREV2 & spacer:

Front swaybar:

Rear swaybar:

Front camber kit & coilovers:

Rear camber kit and Tein:

I'll take some pics as soon as I can to show everyone the drop, but the rear didn't drop near as much as the front. I have to play with the settings on the shocks and I'm sure the springs will settle a little, but even with the rears set at the lowest setting I only have a little less then a 1" drop in the back. Is that normal?

Don't know. The only thing gold on the rears is the upper mounting flange.

I just got rid of the beater because I hated driving it. I had an 07 Hyundai Accent with 82k on it and hated every minute I spent in it.

Actually that's my friends garage. I can't fit a car in my garage because it's full with motorcycles that I work on for friends. My friend is a mechanic by trade and that's his garage.

All I can say is WOW! I'm sure you had a great time doing that! Great Pix. Please let me know how you like the ride in about 2 weeks. I am thinking of going with a similar tein setup.

Thanks

Alex
