Quick Question...
Now, before you say that I’m dumb for asking this, I may delete the thread after getting a straight answer anyway...
A car meet is coming up soon, and I want to do that ignition trick so me and a few buddies can hear some pops. I’ve never done it before, and I’m only going to do it for at most like 1 minute in a parking lot, shut it off, turn it back on normally, then drive around. I understand the risk behind it, but I feel like this harms engines when they’re done often. Again, I’ve never done it, so will me doing it for a minute this one time really hurt it or no? Thanks.

It's hard on catalytic converters sending unburned fuel into them...
Plus the OEM muffled system is going to completely silence any exhaust pop unless you are putting a lot of unburned raw fuel into the system. personally I wouldn't do it You're probably just going to end up breaking something.
