Anyone use hand signals?

I'm a windows down music up kinda guy and I usually have my arm on the windowsill and hanging out of the window when I'm on the freeway. (Gotta love San Diego) From there I usually throw up the hand signals for changing lanes instead of bringing my arm back in to hit the turn signals. Of course I check my mirrors and over my shoulder because I'm sure there are people who have no idea I'm signaling a lane change. There are a couple things I think about when I'm doing this:

1. Do any other G drivers do this? (Because of the high windowsills)
2. Is it illegal?
3. I feel like I'm bonding with other intelligible drivers who haven't forgotten what the hand signals are since their driving test way back when. Plus the satisfaction of making people wonder why I'm throwing up hand signals in a perfectly good G

i dont do it in the G but i do in my blazer since the signals dont work lol

I don't use my car signals or hand. Only if theres a cop behind me.

I'm a short guy, so the high windowsills really don't help me at all if I were to do hand signals.

The only hand signal i use is for people who dont know how to drive. For them its like a trip to the zoo, they get to see one of the rarest birds on the planet.

I occasionally use hand signals as a joke, I don't think most the drivers on the road today know what you're doing. I have on our freeways used the signal to stop when traffic is coming to an abrupt stop hoping the drivers behind me are paying attention. And then there's the other hand signal using your finger when some retard cuts you off....

^ lol .. Seems like thats more common then actual hand signals to turn or stop.

I don't EVER use hand signals. Your driving an Infiniti not a bike. I would feel like a retard sticking my hand out. Makes it seem like your turn signals are out.
