Screw these codes!

Screw these codes!
P0300, P0011, P0014!
My car following the second engine rebuild is throwing these codes. I have changed the cam sensor's, verified/ cleaned the solenoid. Nissan has said it cannot be the electronics causing the problem. It is to be noted the ses light came on prior to the second rebuild.
I believe the engine rebuilder has done the correct procedure for the timing chain installation. 'Cause he got it right the first time.
My car runs perfectly, small oil burn, but nothing to be alarmed about.
Nissan recommends going back to check the timing chain install. No way!
I'm going to drive it. I'm done trying to fix this issue. I'll deal with what might happen.

The p0011/p0014 codes are caused from 1 or both gaskets blown out on the rear timing cover. These gaskets would not have been replaced during rebuild due to they are part of the rear cover. This is a common problem on 07-08 G35 sedans. The car will drive fine but if you hook an oil pressure guage up you will see the problem immediately. P.M me for more details if you like.

I am sorry I was mistaken. The p0014/p0024 is an exhaust timing issue- not what i previously said about the gasket on rear timing cover. You will need to replace both bank 1 and bank 2 exhaust timing retarder assemblies. Once these are replaced the dealer will have to do an exhaust valve timing relearn procedure. If these came up prior to engine build, they will still be there because the builder would not have changed these out. Hope this helps. The retarders are about a $1000 or better for both together with gaskets

No he would not have noticed, they have sort of a clutch like the ones inside an auto trans. You wont necessarily see anything wrong with them but no one seems to know how to fix the issue. For example I am about to purchase an immaculate 07 g sedan for 7500 with the same codes because the guy doesnt know how to fix the issue. If you do replace the retarders, like I said earlier a relearn process will need to be performed. It would need the relearn process from the build as well because the retarders were unplugged. The retarder in a nutshell is just an electromagnetic clutch
