Location of VIN number on the motor?
Does the VQ35 motor have a VIN number attached to it or is it just a serial number? Im really curious because I'm convinced my motor was replaced at some point since it feels so new at 130k miles. From searching my motor and the forum this is what I found but I don't have a definite answer.
I know that's really hard to see but that's the only number I found, it's behind the motor towards the middle. Under which I assume is the camshaft senor or crankshaft whatever the green one. There is a 6 or so digit number combined with letters and then says VQ35. Is there any way of matching that to the VIN on the car?
