jdmautohouse buyer beware

Be careful when buying from this vender jdmautohouse on ebay. He takes pictures that hide damage issues and will not return unless you pay a 500.00 restocking fee. Buyer beware.

So...if the part is $300 you then have to pay $500 to restock?

I'm not sure on that but I spent 2500. on a set of rims that have 1/4" around spots (9 on one wheel) with no chrome. He told me they were damaged when he got them but neglected to show the damages to me. He took the photos on an angle so you couldn't see the spots. Sorry it's a 25% restocking fee.

They weren't clear in the pictures but were they mentioned at all in the description? What condition were they listed as?

No there was no mention of any damage. They were listed as used and for 2500.00 I thought they would have maybe some light scratches not pieces of the finish missing.

Can you post a link to the ebay sale? I'm curious to see what's up.

Could this be just "One more Reason" not to buy anything on eBay? Unlike our vendors you don't have any recourse...you're screwed!

open a case with ebay. if you fight that hard enough and prove that he posted false info you should be able to get out of that restock fee.
could be wrong though ??

It's in ebay Resolution Centre and the item # 201007407480. This guy has been hard to work with so far. Telling me now that he has to charge me a restocking fee. I hope someone steps in and helps. I have my car going in the paint shop tomorrow. Now I will not be able to have my fender pulled to fit my new wheels because these are not going to workout.
