Need your opionions..own a G35, want a G37

I need opinions from you guys! i haven't been on as much as I once was ... college, work, and modding this thing I call bae has taken a lot of time away from me.

Cutting to the point, I am in love with my G35, 03 6mt 58k miles, clean title, no accidents, accuair bagged etc etc.... but i've gotten to the point where I am dumping soo much money and I feel like its value is depreciating faster and faster which made me think, should I upgrade to an 11-13 G37 with lower miles and just continue dumping money to into that instead. Ofcourse bring over the accuair management and my wheels and probably work my way into FI..

What would you guys do? Whats your opinion on the 35 chasis vs the 37?.. I know this is more than probably talked about before but times may have changed and those threads are probably old!

Let me know! I'll drop a few current pics of my G

Didn't bring the DSLR to Wekfest Miami so the iPhone 6 pics will have to do

First, let's just all agree here that the G35 (yours more than others - good job!) Is way sexier than the G37.

Second, you know you're gonna mod the G37 too, so you'll still be dumping money into it. The G37 may be worth more, but you're the one that's gonna be paying that extra money that its worth. You never actually win. Nothing is cheaper than the car you already own.

Third, the G35 will be a sought after classic one day. The G37, I don't think will age as well, so those of us who keep out G35s well cared for, I think, will be the winners years from now.

Also, I believe there were more TSBs for the 37 than the 35 iirc, so you may just be walking into problems.

For real tho, your car looks great. Great example of the OEM+ look that everyone loves.

You would be pissed if you sold it.

That's a really solid argument Scragglerock and I do appreciate the compliments  haha I do believe you are right, I do only like the front end more than the 35, nothing can beat the 35 rear... I guess the main supporting cause behind my crazy idea is simply having a newer car -.-

Lmfao Shane, why's that

No doubt. Nothing like getting a new car. I just don't foresee finding something that compares to the G in all areas. Yeah there are faster, lighter, sexier, more practical, but nothing that balances all those attributes the same way.

it just depends what your looking for, the g37 looks more updated and maybe a bit better stock. and the interior deff looks more updated / more upgrades to it, like backup camera, and paddle shifters and what not.

is value the only thing you care about? because it doesnt matter what car you buy your losing money anyway. ive looked back and am like damn ive really spent 8k+ so far?? and im not even close to being FI lol, no rims or suspension either.

i feel your dilemma though im getting kinda bored of my car also ( had it for about 55k miles )
i just want more speed lol. i wanted to go FI but id rather save that 10-15g for a nicer car. if i was to get another car ( besides another g35 ) i would 100% get a g37 IPL trim. or keep saving until i can afford a gtr *black edition would be preferred please *

ultimately i am never selling my car, after everything i've done to it, it would just be worth it to keep it as a daily, and buy a new car as your new baby! thats the route you should go!

Its really not "faster". The 0-60 and 1/4 mile are a mere .1 seconds faster on paper in stock form. Your modded g35 is faster.

.your G35 is sweet! Low miles and cared for! I had a 2013 G37 loaner. I feel the 1st gen cockpit is a better layout than the 13.
Take a 13 for a ride you will like 1st gen cockpit better. Paddle shiters is the only thing better. Speed control and radio controls are better on the steering wheel better than the 13. I would keep your coupe!! Go for a test ride then decide.

No doubt, man. You would have to be putting like $500-600/month into repairing it before it'd be worth it to buy another car. Not to mention the new car you bought wouldn't look as cool.

With the low miles on your coupe you could get a good price! But you wont find another one as nice as yours! Keep it you wont regret it!
