Looking for a supplier of headlight covers. I have plastic stress cracks all over my headlights. The only option I have found is to replace the entire assembly at $1200 per side and these are U.S (I'm in Australia) so I think the diffuser will be wrong and set up for driving on the right. Any one know where I can buy some really good condition 2nd hand units or new lenses?

Pics of stress cracks? I bet it is crazing, and can be sanded out.

 

Basically they went yellow and the previous owner didn't maintain them. Now the cracks are too bad to fix.

 

you can buy a cheap set off ebay and bake them to pull them apart and just replace the outer cover.

 

Did you try wet sanding them?? My lenses were worse than that and mine came out crystal clear
