Rear Caliper Slide Bolt - Threads Unfastened, Yet Seized
My rear lower caliper slide bolt is seized. I have removed it past the threads, but the tip it still stuck. It took a lot of force to unscrew the threaded portion it (I'd say around 80 ft*lb to crack it, about 60 ft*lbs to unscrew it).
There are NO threads engaged at this point, yet I can't get it to budge. I've tried hitting it out, as well as adding heat to the bracket, but I'm worried I'm going to damage something.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
