Bear Mountain Cruise Feeler
Just gauging interest, since many of you liked that cruise through Connecticut 2 weeks ago and said you would like to go on another nice drive, how does Bear Mountain sound? I went up there today and the roads are amazing. I know its getting colder but its a nice drive, just wear layers ppl because on the top of the mountain is atleast 10 degrees colder. Also stop complain about traction, your tires well hold up just fine trust me. The reason I suggest this time of year is because there will be alot less traffic meaning we will have all the mountain roads to ourselves! Also this a great spot for pics... see below!

To the OP: Excellent idea for the cruise! Even though I don't live in the NE, I organized a meet cruise in Bear Mountain with the Clublexus guys when I lived in CT several years ago. The 6-8 mile stretch of road around the mountainside is breathtaking and is filled with all sorts of twisties, hairpin turns and all the good stuff. When you add suspension mods to your bag of tricks, it's easy and fun to speed around the mountain (but sucks to get stuck behind a slowpoke) There's also a pitstop along the road for taking pics, etc. Bear Mountain is a convenient location for all you tri-state guys (0.5 to 1 hour from CT and NYC, and 1.5 to 2 hours from NJ). Hope this post is enough to get you guys interested in a cruise at Bear Mountain!
