FS: 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe 5AT (100% stock)

Hi Everyone,

My name is Josh and live in the Green Bay, WI area. We are looking to sell our Infiniti due to the arrival of our first son. I just can't bring myself to put a car seat in the back of this car. My wife wanted a little red sports car before kids and I talked her into this but sadly it is time to part ways. I've been a visitor to this site during the 2+ years we've had the car and I know you know how great these cars are so I figured this is a good place to post. Here are some details:

2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe AT
Red with tan leather interior
Bose premium sound
Sunroof
Navi
MP3 cd player
New tires (approx 500 miles on them)
34,500 miles
Sport AND Perfromance packages
100% stock and fully loaded

I have the original window sticker scanned in and can email to anyone interested.

Asking $19,345 obo.
KBB value is $20,895 in good condition and $21,920 in excellent. NADA falls into that ballpark as well.

The car is in great condition and has been stored during the winter. We are the second owners. We got the car with 12,000 miles from a couple in CA. Carfax is clean. The interior is spotless and we have always used plastic floor mats to protect the carpet. There are some knicks from stones and bugs on the front but nothing major. Usual wear and tear I guess. All maintenence has been performed at the Nissan dealership.

Let me know if you are interested or have any questions.

Price has been reduced from $20,500 to 19,345. New price is 1500 under kbb in good condition. Open to offers and willing to work something out price-wise if transport is needed.

Thanks for the help and the kind words. Obviously haven't figured out the picture thing yet. And it's a sharp car but hard to walk past it everyday and not be able to drive it.

given that this car cost twice as much new, and by the looks of it, yours is kept in really good shape, there are a lot of people selling their cars for less than what they are really worth.. for the potential buyer. perfect.. for the seller, not so good.. i believe that the 1st generation G35 is a great car.. i also believe they are worth every penny in blue book value... the thing is.. the G37 has been out for awhile, so that immediately depreciates the G35. And to top it off.. there are tons of G35's out there.. and there is always someone out there selling theirs for less than you.. i don't want to sell mine but eventually i will.. i have no idea why people sell their G35's so cheap.. but whoever buys em are damn lucky..

If you don't really need the money.. Keep it.. store it.. i believe prices cant go too much lower than they are... i mean.. people want to pay less than 15k.. for 15k you get a nice honda... a HONDA..!!!. wutever...

yeah it is tough to think of letting this car go but it's also hard to see it and not be able to drive it nearly enough.

funny you mention keeping it, i just said to my wife tonight that for the next few months we are going to pull the cover off and drive it as much as possible and not let this sale keep us from enjoying the g. then 2 minutes after getting home i get a call on the car from the ad in the paper. crazy stuff.

I thought the same thing before I sold my Lexus GS430 people kept low balling me. Your right if people want to pay less then what I want then they needed to buy an Infiniti. wutever...

Store it, keep it LOL!!! ...... its an infiniti not an NSX, supra, or a 68 camaro. Don't listen to this guy. Cars are not investments. If you got a kid on the way do what you got to do and sell it. I have seen coupes for sale for 6 to 9 months with the same attitude as this member which I quoted. In that time frame your kid will be here and your car will be worth even less. Try auto trader, cars.com to help sell your car as well.

tx- no extended warranty so that has expired

one-i've gotten a few low ball offers already and i'm sure i'll get a few more to deal with but what can you do. it's priced to move at $1500 kbb which is a steal considering that this car is still a baby. i do have it listed on cars.com and autotrader along with the local paper. pretty exciting to have had 3 calls on it in the past 24 hours and all from different sources so i'm hopeful something will work out shortly.

stick to your guns bro.. all i am saying is don't give it away to people that insult you by offering you way below what its worth..! being the 2nd owner of the vehicle and this is a 2005, you probably didn't get the best deal on it.. you've taken care of the car. you probably just want to pay wut you owe on it.. GLWS and don't give it away.. you don't have to STORE it.. just don't let some one steal it from u..!!!

onebadgs400...?
Lexus' are nice.. i use to have one. but you can't compare a sedan to a coupe... you just can't.. two totally different cars.. i actually had a 5sp is300... i liked it better than my g... different strokes for different folks i guess...good luck getting a g... i'm sure if you hold out long enough you can get one for 10g's..

al-appreciate the encouragement. don't worry, i'm not looking to give it away. it's a great car and i'll find someone who appreciates it. that's one of the reasons i wanted to post it on this forum. everyone here knows the g. we'll just keep plugging away looking for the right buyer. don't need the cash so we aren't in a rush.
