03 coupe Seat rocks, creaks? anyone fixed this diy?

Hey all, my 03 coupes driver seat has been making a creaking noise, but since its out of warranty i could deal with it....but now the seat rocks back and forth and is really annoying driving a 6 spd... i know there is a tsb, but since im out of warranty that does not help much....has anyone done this repair themselves?........and also has anyone experianced this issue getting worse??

i also have the creaking issue, guess it's time to upgrade to some lighter aftermarket seats

My 2004 G35 drivers seat creaks as well however it does not rock. I would agree on the new seats

This thread is from a while back, but it may help you out .......I think everyone has had this problem at one time or another. I had mine fixed when they replaced my leather seat bottom a while back. Unfortuneately, the squeeking/rocking is comming back again....so I may have to take a shot at repairing it myself.

If it rocks more than creaks, pull the front finisher panel and check the front lifter feet - mine crack clean in half.
