It has been brought up here a couple times over the past months about proper sizing for winter wheels/tires. My 05 had the sport tuned suspension with factory 19's. This is the setup I went with to keep the overall diameters the same. So far I have had no issues with VDC and everything seems copesetic. Only down sid is the WS60's are directional and I had to stay with staggered to keep VDC from going off. All of this means that I can not rotate this setup which I can live with.
Wheels are American Racing Rogue Muscle 17". I have a tire rack wholesale account and the wheels and tires set me back about $1150 with shipping. Hopefully this will help some of you looking for a winter setup.

My next question is what to do about weight. Im sure the dedicated snow tires will help immensely but I think I need to weight down the rear end as well. What have some of you folks done in the past?

I actually had no problem with weight as being an issue. Just common sense and being careful with the G is good enough IMO in the winter. It also depends how bad the winter is in your area. I live in Chicago, so it was moderate IMHO
