Ive heard of floss being used. If there is glue residue ive also heard of nail polish remover being used to get the gunk off, however, i have no idea what it does to the paint and i wouldnt recommend it unless you were certain the nail polish remover wouldnt strip the paint

Honestly I just took them off this past weekend and I just took a very small flathead and pulled them off and then clean the glue off with turtle wax bug and tar remover it works great. To put them back I would say you could just buy some type of double sided tape.

Its really easy but just take the first( I)off first and wipe it with some type of wax cleaner to make sure that the paint doesn't look different. If it looks bad than you can put it back.

go to home depot get a bottle of goo gone.. that will work to take off the goo.. thus the name

as for what looks better, i know it will take a while but look at pics of what others have done and see what looks good to you, afterall its your car but the popular choice has been to keep just the mt fuji

yea i kinda like it but i just want mine to be a bit more different than it is already! right now the only difference is some overlays on the taillights and a ztube popcharger combo. im thinking of keeping the rims and just painting them a gloss black and keeping the outer rim thing near the wheel silver...but idk about that yet lol not sure how that would look

Yes, use the search next time but ill answer your question.

You can De-badge the Infiniti lettering. Its simple you need floss and Bug&tar or googone and a hair dryer. Heat up emblems puts some googone or bug and tar ontop of the lettering (I did this dont know if it helped or not but it seemed to make it easier) then get the floss and wrap them on your 2 index fingers and go behind the letter and use a saw like motion. it will come right off. you need to go letter by letter not all at the same time. If you have residue left you can heat it up with the hair dryer and use the base of your thumb to remove it. If you want to put the emblems and stuff back you need to get 3M automotive tape, but it probably wont be straight so once its off leave it off. I personally took off infiniti off my car.

When your done if you use googone or goofoff you need to get dawn soap or a grease cutting dish soap and clean every area really good with the soap. Goof-Off and googone can screw with your paint if you leave it on,

Many members on this forum have done this so you can just find there pics to see if it looks good or not.

thats cool glad you want to be different but also remember this, keeping the car clean(knowing what to do and what NOT to do to it) is also different because in every car community there is a small percentage of cars that are modded tastefully and such, so there you go free advice, keep us posted

Heat the badges up first with a hair dryer or something... then use the floss to remove the badge. Finish with Goo Gone and then a cleaner wax and polish.
