opinions on brake pads and tires for the winter
hey guys... just wanted to know what brake pads to get for the front. I need to replace them and bought the car in July. I wanted to get hawk hps pads since I hear OEM sucks balls. However, I heard the hawk hps pads break in the winter.
I also need some winter tires, is used ones any good if tread is still good? cause i dont want to spend like 500-700 on new ones. Any good quality winter tire brands for our cars RWD should be difficult in the winter. Thanks... |

I would say oe pads are the best in the winter. For 4 tires 500-700 isabout where you are going to be....for just the tires. I bought Kumho Ecsta ASX for $550 for all 4 then mount and balance, maybe $70-$125. An alignment wouldn't hurt either because out cambers suck and will kill your tires.
