I test drove one today and was impressed. They were solid cars that have the tq the G doesn't have. We will see what they want to do!

No need to be rude JO.

All the cars above are relatively new. If you plan on owning the car for a few years, I'm sure it'll be fine.

From experience, their truck is line was ****, is **** and most likely will always will be ****.

I can't imagine their cars being much different.

I actually also like the 2010 Mustangs but I wouldn't own one over a 370z if I was in the market for a 2 door.

I'd rather push a Chevy, then drive a Ford lol. Sorry I had to say that being a Chevy fan. As far as the Stang goes. If you really miss the whole American V8 muscle. Then you know what you gotta get.

That's because you like most people here buy the little stuff first wasting money, hopping to get fast cheap instead of seeing the big picture ahead which is to turbo the car and buying the right mods the first time for FI.

And reliability is determined a lot also by region. A car up north doesn't last long.

I went from a 96 cobra convert to my 04 G Coupe.
Even tho the G is slower I enjoy driving it much more!!!
Better driving experience and it fits me better!!
Even tho I've had more problems with my G's than any Ford I've ever owned, I still like driving them better.
And, I've owned a few Fords! Eight
Have owned a few Nissans/Infiniti's - Eight too

First car was a 69 Mach 1 with a shaker, so will always have a soft spot for stangs!!!

Consumer Reports just put out an article talking about Ford being the best domestic.....but, there REALLY isn't any competition anymore.
They did like the V8 G8.

I like the new Mustangs and they've developed into a pretty nice car overall.... but there are just too many of them on the road. I know Infiniti G Coupes aren't super rare or exotic, but there are about 1/10th as many of them on the road as there are Mustangs. I kinda like having a car that I don't see 20 of on the 6 mile trip to work every morning.

That being said.... I really wish the G35 had a ton more torque. I'm more of a torque guy than HP.

.
That's a function of Ford offering so many packages including a very very cheap 6 cylinder base model no frills. The price for a Mustang ranges from $20K to $50K+ ! So more people can spend $20K and say they have a Mustang, even though a Yaris would smoke them off the stop light.

I'm not too keen on Ford or the Mustang, but I thought the car was a good looking car. However, that new trunk is fugly! . The designers moved away from the old flat Boss look, and rounded the tail lights and the corners.

I would never give up my G for a mustang.

Camaro SS2, well that's a different story...
