Hey everybody

I recently have been having trouble with my drivers side door lock on my 04 coupe. I can't seem to figure out what's wrong and haven't been able to find an answer in any searches.

My lock will only lock manually from the inside. The actuator won't lock the door on its own even though it looks like its trying to push the lock when I hit the button on my fob. Also, when I try and use the key to manually lock/unlock my car the key won't turn in the lock. It's acting like the lock is iced up but being as it's still summer that's not possible. I sprayed some graphite spray in the door lock and still got no movement from the key manually.

Sooo as of right now I need to manually lock the car from inside and then use the fob to roll down the windows to unlock my drivers side door when it's time to get back in my car lol. Needless to say I need to get this fixed.

Maybe you need to find a new way to search, that's a very common issue on the coupes and is documented here ad nauseum. Next time go to Google and type in "G35Driver, door lock problem" or whatever you're searching for. And this is just the first page of results:
