my best advice for buying a g, get an MT you wont be disappointed, take your time looking around, it took me more than 3 months to find the one that was perfect for me, and finally, don't pull your hair out because you cant find the perfect one for you, because if you really want it, it will come around it will just take time. Don't rush into buying a car just because its the car you want. shop around and find the one that's right for you, and if you sit in the car and test drive it and get a funny feeling walk away from it. remember your not just buying a car, you buying something that you will love, and buying something to fast turn up with problems.
EDIT: also where are you located?

what do you mean a fast turn up with problems? Ive been looking for at different cars about 2 months (almost bought an 06 pontiac g6 gtp 6mt) and this was in my price range and was in a good condition. The g35 6mt i was looking at had 97,xxx on it and he wanted 15gs. ive already been approved for financing and have a check on the way, its pretty much a done deal already.

alright well when you get it post up some pics here, or post a new member thread and post the link here, hope you enjoy your G as much as I enjoy mine. also lemme know what mods he has done i'm always curious to see what people have done to their G.
and what I meant is that buying a car too fast, just because you love it, can make you overlook problems that the car might have, like i have done it the past.
but if he has taken good care of it and loved it, then all should be fine...
Oh, and careful that mod bug will bite you faster then you think... but IMO that's a good thing

haha yeah i had my uncle( a mechanic at chevrolet) take it up on the lift and expect it, then drive it, he said it was in a very nice condition, with no rust underneath at all. The owner says its never seen snow. So far he has put new headlight, spoiler, 1,100 dollar double din with navigation.
