Colorado Gs, need your council.
Hey guys.
I have an 04 CB 6MT that I just drove across the country from the DC area to my new home in Denver, CO. The G, at least with the all-season tires I've been using before, sucks in the snow.
I absolutely do not want to part with my G. She's got 135k on the clock (100k on the clutch, replaced before I bought her), and runs as well as the day I bought her.
I'm hoping to get some guidance on the 2014 state of affairs as far as winter-tires and your experiences in the snow. I have searched this issue but it seems the opinions vary wildly, and I was hoping to get advice from those who live in areas that snow on the regular.

Do not let snow part you from your G, pick up a pair of blizzaks or equivalent and you'll be golden. I am up in Michigan and we just got a record breaking snowfall this past winter and my 03 coupe on blizzaks handled like a charm multiple times. Honestly I would drive my G with blizzaks over my fiance's G6 with all seasons any day. Hope this helps.

hey.. i don't have a coupe.. but I did live in Denver for 5 years with my RWD G..
with winter tires.. you should have no problem..
Ground clearance might be a problem with your coupe time to time.. in fact, the snow in DC might be harder to drive in. Denver has fluff snow, it packs nicely.. doesn't ice like it does on the east coast.
Good luck.
