2004 coupe bumper question

I just replaced my HID bulb and I'm reattaching the bumper. The styrofoam insert came off and I don't know how it goes...I'm a 55 yr old woman and I'm seriously in need of help!

When I replaced my front bumper I never put that foam blocks back on. No worries just drop it in the circular file...Gary

I would not leave it removed because it plays an important role in impacts. I'm not sure how they are attached, but maybe 3M doubled sided tape?

If you go on to Sewell Infiniti parts website, you can get a schematic of how the inserts sit behind the cover. I would not leave them out. They do play a role in low speed impacts.

You're a 55 yrs old woman and changing bulbs on the G? Nice. Haha that's more work than a lot of guys know how to do.

I never put the foam things back either. Just the big center one that obviously attaches to the actual bumper.

It's very very straight forward. If ur talking about the main front one, there's only 2 options, right side up or upside down, one of them is correct.

There's a couple of those small ones that just fall out of the bumper cover the first time you take it off tho. I have no idea how those ones go in. Never really cared.

I was lucky enough to get a completely unmolested/never modded G and when I changed to 06 lights, the foam things just kinda fell out everywhere. Haha they're still in my trunk in case I ever get bored enough to figure it out.

There were only 3 smaller ones that fell out for me, I think the previous owner threw away the 4th. Took me less than 2 minutes to figure out where they go. There's the big Main one, 2 that go in at the sides behind the front grill and then the other is on the passenger side around shin height and there's a pretty clear cut out for how it slides in.
