New Car!

Hey everyone, just bought my first g35 coupe. It's a 2003 and so far I love it. I want it to last as long as possible and I know the basics to not beat up the engine, anticipate braking, use good oil and change regularly, ect. Just wondering if you guys have any tips or more detailed information to keep these cars running smoothly. Anything to check and or replace. Any help is much appreciated. Been looking over this site for months glad I can finally be apart of the conversations. Thanks everyone

Im guessing it is the Manual option? Remember when changing brakes to not go with OEM. OEM is low quality compared to centric premium replacements.

Check around the forum including the Tech section to find the factory service manual for your vehicle.

Also keep an eye on all your suspension parts. Bushings and ball joints like to fail prematurely on our cars. Luckily the aftermarket has great options for us. One of the things I love about the G is the huge aftermarket.

Just follow your owners manual and factory service manual for further guidance. Replace all fluids at the 30k marks and check belts at 60k marks. I would look under the car and check all the bushings for cracks, splitting, dry rot etc. Also check all wheels for excessive play, struts/shocks for leaks, and ball joints for torn or leaking boots.

Also if you are over 100k check your spark plugs.
