Complete noob few questions
I drove my very first G35 yesterday. Wow really really nice. I now want one!
I found a 2004 6MT with 92,000 miles. I have not seen it yet in person, but the owner (only one) says it is on its 3rd transmission. To me this is a little bit of a concern, I wonder if the car has been abused? My quick search on this forum did not bring up many issues with the trannys on these cars. On the other hand, the car now has a new trans and I assume new clutch. He has all records and I will check.
I will have to look the car over and decide then whether or not to buy. It is about 2 hours from where I live and I don't see a way to bring it to my trusted local mechanic here. Any areas of concern? I plan to bring a jack and peek underneath. Any problem spots for rust or leaks?
Thanks.

Welcome to Driver Derek!
Three transmissions since new, this G35 has issues that may be impossible to spot! I consider this a red flag...Move on! Keep looking you'll find a G that you'll want to take home. Mint condition, no accidents and service records with the lowest mileage possible is what you should be looking for! Mods are not a problem if the G looks like mine, they're considered upgrades!
