G35 sittin on springs and spacers!

I swear nothing beats a G sitting on Tein S.Tech Springs and H&R 20 and 25 mm spacers. Just put on the spacers myself yesterday morning. Install took longer than usual because I used the tiny jack that came in the truck of my G haha. (Didn't have time to go and borrow my friends floor jack) Went with 20 F and 25 R because the fenders were surprisingly already rolled when I bought the vehicle, even though it came on stock 19" rays with no spacers. No problems yet, probably will tighten down everything today when I get home from work. Thanks to Mike at Concept Z for hooking me up on the spacers. Will post pics ASAP.

Make sure you check them again in a few weeks to make sure everything's torqued properly

Just a question, were the springs installed on stock shocks/struts? I'm curious if there would be any problems with your setup on a car without the fenders rolled.

Yang, running OE rims and his spacers you won't need to roll your fenders! Caution when considering lowering your coupe or sedan and it doesn't matter if you use springs or coil overs you're going to need a total camber kit...that's front & back! You need to bring your alignment back to OE specs so your tires will live and your coupe will track correctly! Camber kits + install + alignment = K$ figure that into the cost of lowering unless Mom & Dad own a tire shop!

Yea I have a SPC camber kit and control arms. I feel like I could have put 30mm in the back truthfully. I like the look I have now but I am pretty sure they could have fit

I'm lowered on Tanabe NF210 springs with a 1 inch drop in the front and a little over a half inch drop in the rear. My car has been lowered for a year and I didn't need a camber kit. My tires look just fine front and rear and believe me I check them daily for wear on the inside of the tires. I'm running 255 35 r20's in the front and right now I'm running 275 30 r20's in the rear but will be switching to 285 30 r20's in the rear when the 275's wear out. I'm not new to this car scene been modding cars for almost 30 years and I know what I'm doing. My coupe handles extremely well when cornering and I enjoy the straight line performance as well.

When I first lowered my car I wondered if I'd need a camber kit but after almost of year (will be a year in December) my car looks and handles great. However I know I'll need to roll the fenders or get them trimmed once I install the 285's because I'm sure they'll rub. My 275's rub but only when there's a sizable dip in the road.

Will I need a camber kit with 350z H techs on OEM rays? or any other parts other than springs?

Thumbs up

If you're running factory 19's with 350Z springs you may not need a camber kit if it's a mild drop. However you will need to replace your shocks and struts sooner due to the less travel they will have also causing them to wear out sooner. Tokico makes shocks and struts for lowered cars. I'll be purchasing a set next spring. Also depending on the size of your wheel spacers that will determine if you need to roll your fenders.
