Tein Basis are a good entry level coilover system, but if I recall they do not have dampening adjustments so your ride comfort is not adjustable. Other brands to consider are BC, Stance, and ISC, all of which have multiple level dampening adjustments that let you fine tune your ride quality to however stiff or smooth you would like it to be. Tein Basis is good for a mild drop but it won't get you slammed to the ground. If you just want a slight drop (around 2-2.5 inch max, I think) the Teins will be fine, otherwise look to other brands with a true-style coilover setup for the most drop potential. Check out the suspension sub-forum in the tech area for coilover reviews.
