Clicking/Clunking Suspension Noise While Braking
Hey guys,
I've searched all over for this specific issue but can only find instances where the clicking/clunking comes at low speeds. I got my ES poly bushings installed recently and ever since, I've had this clicking noise whenever I get on the brakes, regardless of speed. It's only when I depress the brake pedal harder than about 40%. Sometimes if I brake super early coming to a light or very lightly it won't occur, but it's usually unavoidable, and it has this fast-paced clicking noise all the way until I stop if I'm under hard braking. I've read that these bushings can squeak after awhile, but only rarely do they make this noise if I'm just driving normally. It is absolutely consistent EVERYTIME I brake. Is this for sure the bushings and something I am just going to have to live with if I'm using polyurethane? Any thoughts/comments are much appreciated!

Don't be worried about this *click* you're hearing. It's a sound pretty much ALL G's and Z's have. Do a search here on the forum for "Rear Axle Click" and you'll get tons of threads to read.
The short story is it wont hurt anything.
The slightly longer story is it's the splines on the axle clinking against the splines on the wheel hub when a change of rotational direction is made. The only way to make it go away is to re-grease the splines.
But it's really a zero issue, eventually you'll just tune it out, trust me - we all do LOL
