I did some looking and it looks like is the same procedure as the 6MT and it looks pretty straightforward. Did you tried taking the center console apart and checking if you can install it.
its ok. its jus my opinion. but for the most part it is rice but it seems to be a mod that is widely accepted here idk why. but painting calipers red isn't acceptable.
I dont agree with that being rice. It gives the car a more elegant look IMO. Its more of german thing. And as we all know, Infiniti Competitor is BMW. BMW has using shift boots with their automatics for years. Hell The $160k SL65 has an automatic with a shift boot from the factory.
I dont understand why everyone is throwing the "rice" card so much lately. My opinion of rice was when someone modifying their car cosmetically and thinking its suppose to make it "faster". However some shift boots should be considered Suspect. Like people using Crown Royal bags as their shift boots. WTF??
When u guys figure out why installing painted brake covers is rice then ull figure it out. The difference between the factory shift boots and the rice shift boots is that for the most part it still looks like an automatic (still looks dumb to me). Jus make a sporty auto **** like some of the other cars. No need fake it with a tiny boot.. The rice shift boot is trying to make it look like a manual whether or not that's the true reason or not. Of course u guys that like it will say it's not but deep down u kno Wat I mean lol

I installed mine because it flows better with the interior & matches my leather lol I really dont care about it looking like its manual
