Walker Midpipe Review

Hello all. I am new to this forum. Just recently bought my 2006 sedan 6mt and absolutely LOVE it. I thought I'd go ahead and contribute as I like to do alot of research myself. Amongst that research while looking up mods for my car I found a popular one was a coupe midpipe. While searching I found out about an inexpensive aftermarket option from your local parts store. Its a Walker coupe midpipe. Got it for 50 bucks (special ordered). Installed it today. So far pleased. I was expecting a more defined VQ35 drone that I love from Z's and coupes. Overall quality wise for the Walker pipe pretty satisfied. I've started looking into HR y pipes. Lol. I would like to post pics but idk how to on my phone. Oops. Also just realized I'm in the wrong section. Sorry guys. Obvious noob here!

Welcome to G35 Driver!

Installing the coupe mid pipe has been a very popular mod with sedan owners since '03 because of the exhaust sound gains. Don't waste your $$ on a y-pipe unless yours fails, you won't notice the difference! With your '06 MT hp gains are found installing Motordynes 5/16" plenum spacer and MREV2 manifold...use our Search for more information!

I was only trying to leave a review on the Walker midpipe. When I was trying to look them up I didn't find any real reviews just a bunch of ppl hating on them cus they're cheap. But I'm only doing it for the sound. I actually ended up finding a y pipe from a flowmaster 350z catback kit for a super good price. Really opened it up and sounds awesome. The way I see it if I want more power I'll just save up and add boost so all the money and time actually feels worth it.
