How about the reliability of Q40(new G37)? 2015 Q40 AWD($31717) or RWD ($30256)?

I have test driven Q40 and feel good. However, Since Q40 is a new model(similar model as old G37), I am not sure about the reliability. Could any specialists here give me some suggestions about its reliability?
In addition, my home town rarely rains and all of my previous cars are 2WD. However, the prices for AWD and RWD in AutoPriceShare program are similar(only 1500 dollars difference). Should I choose the AWD version? Thanks in advance

The Q40 is just a rebadged G37. Reliability shouldn't be any different than the later G37 models. Infiniti really didn't change much since the G37 was supposed to be phased out but kept it around as a Q40 for a year or two. Pretty much the same car underneath so you can search G37 reliability.
AWD vs RWD is up to you. I feel as if AWD is more suited for snow-belt states, so if you leave where it snows, i'd choose that. For rain, you really shouldn't need the AWD, especially with the traction control system.
Differences in purchase price may be negligible, but maintainance is more expensive on the AWD, and fuel economy will be less. So even if you pay the same price to buy, the RWD will be cheaper in the long run due to better fuel economy, and less maintainance cost having to not worry about front differentials, CV axles, transfer case and related parts.
