Please! Needing help with my 05 g35

Alright so I'm needing some help I'm at a point of confusion and don't know what else to do. So my motor was knocking, got a motor switched them out everything is connected and we went and the car started fine, purred like a kitten, let it idle for over an hour, everything seemed fine til I tried to get gears, I could put the car in reverse neutral and drive and it would feel like it would grab and go into gear but when I touched the gas nothing but revving. Also my car would only rev up to about 2000-2500 rpms and wouldn't go any higher. So I was told I needed to reset my ecu, I did the pump the gas method that everyone does, when I got done with the test we turned the ignition switch off took the key out out it back in and now my car won't even start. On the "on" position before starting the car all my lights on my dash are on but my park, neutral, revers and drive indicator is just blank and remains that way when I put it into gears. Then when I go to start it the dash goes dark and it's just black no lights at all til I put it back to the on position. Tried redoing the ecu test over and over cause they say timing is critical but I've did it 4-5 times and had the timing pretty spot on and still nothing. My battery is perfectly fine. Idk what to do and I'm to the point of frustration and literally giving up. Idk what else to do. Any ideas and can someone maybe lead me into the right direction. Thanks..

Do a search for recent posts. There is a member on here that swapped motors in his driveway with pics. This sounds like the guy that might be able to help you.

Sounds like you may be stuck in "limp" mode.

Try disconnecting the battery, step on the brakes for about 30 seconds and reconnect. That might get the ECU to reset properly.
