Need Help Assessing 07 G35 Rims

I'm looking into buying a 07 G35 and the one with the best deal has rims I don't like so I would buy used to replace and maybe get winter tires (for the rims removed). I found some on ebay they sell but I can't tell if they are the same as the ones I like. Let me show you.

The first G35 on left has the rims I want. The second one is one I'm looking into buying. Then I found these on ebay. Are they the same? The seller says they match but something seems off. They are for "Nissan", and the rim structure is "forged" so I just read up that is a lighter stronger version of the originals?

Any advice with winter tires? I live in the northeast and we get a few snowstorms here and there, maybe a good idea to have them switched up for the winter months? is it worth it? would I just need to change the back tires or all of them?

First post here. Thanks for any feedback.

Based on your pics, it looks like you're choosing between the sport and non-sport model. Any reason you're favoring the non-sport model?

Differences include wheels (as you've noted) as well as front bumper shape and some interior trim pieces.

As noted above the forged Rays (your first pic) are a great option - light and look good IMO.

I got the "sport" model! I've had it for a week now and love it. I had a guy from lemonsquad inspect it and he gave it a very good review despite the 85k mileage. I was satisfied and pulled the trigger.

There are some bumps in the road:

Inbuilt GPS is really outdated (instead I use latest Garmin).

Snow tires. I need to get snow tires for the winter (craigslist has two sets listed at around $600). I'd feel much more confident with these unexpected snowstorms in the northeast.

Music with smartphone. One thing that's not working is the 3.5mm jack. I plug it into the device to play my music and switch mode to "auxiliary" and it just does not work, looks like the music is going in but nothing out the speakers. I bought a bluetooth device that works with a radio frequency, tested it today it works but the quality is very poor and I would rather have the 3.5mm jack in the phone. This is holding me back from fully enjoying the ride. It also has a second jack for an iPod (which I don't have or use). You know of any issues with this or if I am missing something?

Other than that, it's is one awesome car both to drive and to look at, already one person came up to me asking about it.

Congratz on the purchase!

With the GPS, if you really want, you can just rely on your phone since nothing beats the frequency of updates with Google Maps. Save yourself some bucks there if you recently bought the Garmin.

I don't recall the 07 coupes having aux input, so it's likely aftermarket. If you're handy with wires there's a very good thread on this in the audio section of the boards. The mod there is also active and the guy is a god with this stuff.

Nice find!! Congrats!! Car looks super clean and in pristine shape.

As for the GPS, music, Bluetooth thing... it will set you back anywhere from $500- $800 to complete but you can pick up a JDM double din kit (its worth it for the JDM vs a knock off) and then get a touch screen in there with GPS, Bluetooth, all the latest.
