So I know G35 window motors arent the best... but this is getting ridiculous. For the past couple weeks my window would periodically stop working. After a random amount of time it would start working again. Today I had my driver side window rolled down and when I went to roll it up, a weird sound came from the area where the motor is and it died. Like nothing at all when I press any buttons.

Checked the fuse, Wiring Harness connections, but dont really want to tear into the motor yet unless someone might have an idea of whats going on.

Also if anyone has a way of manually rolling up the window until I get it figured out, that would be great hahaha

So I managed to get my window up by slamming it shut about 100 times while holding the switch halfway up. Anyone know what the h*** is going on?

 

Try banging on the door in different places as you hold the window button down or up. If it starts to work it's the motor. Mine works sometimes and when it doesn't I just bang on it. Idk how long it will last but oh well
