Buying 04 6MT G35 coupe, advice on what to look out for?

New to the whole Nissan/Infiniti platform and I've been itching to get back in a manual. Recently found a 2004 6MT coupe with 122K that I really want to check out. I'd been lurking the forums (mainly this one and 6mt) and it seems like the main things to look out for besides the engine/transmission are the window motors, Bose stereo/AC unit, power locks, and random rattling noises?

I plan on taking it to the local dealer for a complete rundown but wanted to know if there is anything else that's a major deal breaker before I even bother taking it to the dealership.

Valve covers, radiator, camshaft/crankshaft sensors, compression rod bushings, differential bushing, lower control arm bushing, outer tie rods, sway bar bushings, end links, brakes, spark plugs, belts and fluids.

I appreciate the help! I'm even open to getting an 06 6MT sedan if the coupe doesn't work out.

2005 - 2006 6mt Sedan means Rev-Up engine
2005 - 2007 6mt Coupe means Rev-Up engine

All engines are susceptible to oil consumption but Rev-Up engines will consume oil when the engines are still new and young. Other VQ engines will show consumption as they wear and start to hit 100K miles. If you can afford it you should pick up the 2007-2008 G35S 6mt Sedan. Check the known issues like scratches on the steering wheel trim and crappy clutch slave cylinder

How bad is the oil consumption for an 06 5at sedan? I purchased mine recently with 100k on the clock and haven't noticed any oil consumption issues yet. Also had it emissions tested and they make one mention about oil consumption. Their testing is very strict and will not let you pass if you have oil-blowby or consumption that causes 1.5-2x the acceptable emissions, which is easy to detect with oil burning.

I grabbed an 04 coupe with 112k and most everything on it is fine except the coolant system needs burped (no heat under 2k rpm, engine temps are fine) and the passenger door lock actuator was totally busted. the 6-disc didnt work either. Found out a gear that sat inside another gear had stripped out. Super-glued them together and now the cd player works, but it sucks. It wont read brand new un-scratched cd's without skipping, but *some* days it's ok. I have an aux kit laying around, but for now cassette aux is good enough. when you get a 6mt be sure to do the clutch pedal adjustment unless you like it to fully disengage the clutch when it's only halfway pressed. but zero signs of oil leaks/consumption. my gas gauge wont go higher than 3/4 though lol. Gas light came on, and it only drank 13 gal of fuel. Me thinks I need new sender units. also my drivers headlight it somehow oxidized on the inside, and the pass was replaced with what looks to be an aftermarket before I bought it. It's reflectors are much shinier than my left, but it's starting to oxidize as well. Lenses need baked off and thoroughly cleaned.
BUT, my windows go up n down real fast, sunroof is so-so, but any car in the 2000's had slow sunroofs lol. All my seat switches work.
All in all I'm very happy with it! Only thing that pisses me off is lack of real LSD in ANY model. even the z's got screwed on that.

Check the spark plug wells and see if there's any oil creeping in...that'll tell you how your engine is consuming oil.
