Urgently need help!
Hey fellow G owners,
So I have a 2004 G35 Coupe. While driving pretty slow over an uneven road, or leaving my driveway, theres this metal-to-metal kind of sound coming from the rear right. I can replicate the issue by pushing under the gas tank cover. Seems like the body and rear bumper are grinding with each other? I also went to a garage recently and he pulled pretty hard on my strut, so could that be the issue?
I hope someone can help me out because this issue is really bugging me.
Thanks in advance!

How certain are you that it's metal on metal and not plastic on metal or plastic on rubber?
If something is rubbing, chance are it's a tire rubbing against something since tires usually bulge out on the sides a tad further than most rims when under load.
Can you tell us a bit about what mods your car has? Suspension mods or aftermarket rims can lead to all sorts of rubbing if not done right.
We definitely need more info about your car's mods and history though to be of any useful help.

He was getting my car safetied and as he finished checking other things, he came around back, tugged on my struts with literally his body hanging on my strut and told me my struts were gone... He just wanted to make money.

Well, I'm like 98% sure its either metal on metal, or my bumper on the metal body (metal on plastic).
I'm also positive it has nothing to do with my tires. The issue came about right after he hung from my strut, again he did that to actually loosen it even more, so that I'd give in and get it replaced by him...
My car is completely stock. Not a single mod, not lowered, nothing. Stock all over. My car is 04, but has the 05 forged rims. Once again, that sound was never there before I took it in.

Brakes are solid. Just got them done, prior to going into his shop... I got a complete brake job done. Never had any sound issues, but again, as soon as he tugged on my strut with all of his body weight, the noise began. No noise was present prior to having him safety my car.
