Heater core woes?

Well just got the car from auction a week ago, has no heat and now I see why. Heater core is bypassed. Does anyone have info of what hoses go where . Figure I may try to find out if it's plugged or leaking. I also snapped the coolant bleeder t valve in half. It was pretty weak so guess I'll call the dealer and see if they have one as my local auto store has no clue.

I sprayed some water into the passenger side port under hood then lightly used air to shoot it through it came out the other hose side. So maybe it's plugged up?

Okay guys today I hooked the heater core back up. Trying to bleed the system without the bleeder screw as I broke the housing so out a bypass pipe in its place until I can get to dealer to order one. I now have heat yay lol. Not too warm at idle but Rev to 1500 rpm and she's nice and hot. Which leads me to believe I have air in the system. So have the funnel on cap and keeping it full as car runs. Now gauge shows half, every 5 minutes or so the fan kicks on and coolant starts getting sucked yo lower level. So I keep adding more. It isint a while lot each time just a few ounces. This all seem okay?

Make sure you have the heat on when you're bleeding. I actually fill the radiator, cap it, then fill from the bleeder valve because it is the highest point in the system. After you think it is mostly full go ahead and run it with the system closed. Then crack the bleeder valve when it's hot. You should see a noticeable change in the heat temp...

As I said I don't have a bleeder screw, the whole housing snapped in half

I was under the impression that you replaced that necessary component with something that does the same job. Without that good luck

Forgot to update this. I ended up getting a bleeder valve. I flushed the system and heater core well then kept bleeding the system. I now have full heat at idle. Thanks for the help guys
