What Mods should I get with my Graduation Money?
I just recently got my 2006 Athens metallic blue G35 coupe from Ohio.
All stock. I love the car, and I'm graduating within a month. I'm looking to just do cosmetic stuff other than a exhaust mod, only because i wouldn't be able to afford any mechanical issues with my current income
My grad money budget is probably 1300$.
I love the stock wheels,
and I would like to lower the car, I daily drive it, my intent would be just for more low and good ride quality? whats your opinion on some of the cheaper coils?
also to get new headlight or not to? I really like the headlights that make the bulbs pop, like ones with black in them.
and then color matched eye lids for the headlights. because they make it look mean and not like a grandpa car, but im not bashing i love my g
Muffler delete? or is there a cheap exhaust thats good? I don't want anything raspy, i like the tone of a muffler delete but i don't want LOUD *** DRONE
and then possibly a new radio, one with aux/blue tooth? just a real basic one, i have nav and my only use for the radio would be for music, i like quality music.
Any recommendations from anyone who has experience with specific items would be greatly appreciated! thank you
Here is my beautiful beast

theres not really anywhere i'd love to go to, i mean canada but i live an hour away from toronto area lol. I've thought about it, like my first instict was dont buy anything for the car, but I already have a laptop for college, I'm going to community college for 2 years then art school. I don't need much, and my car could use some items

You really only have enough to do one of those things you mentioned.
Lowering it properly (and doing the work yourself) - ~$1300
New stereo with JDM kit, amp (necessary), speakers, steering wheel control interface, etc. - ~$1300
New exhaust - ~$1300
Save yer money, champ. Or go on a dope a$$ road trip if you MUST spend it. You really should save it tho.

Can you get high performance pads for them like you can get for the Brembo's ???

When I was looking for a car, I said to myself I want a car that I'll love the way it is and not having to upgrade anything. I found the G35 coupe! The sound of the stock exhaust is an eargasm to me. The stock look of the coupe is already acceptable, actually believe it or not there are lots of people that appreciates the stock look of the coupe compared to the modded ones (IMO). The engine will last long if maintained properly and not abused.
Majority of opinions here are from adults that's been through that stage of where you at. Listen to them they learned from their experience. Save your hard earned $$$.
If I were you, I would roll in the G and chase a few hot lookin' cheer leaders at your school and spend $1300 on a nice hotel..

Don't spend yer money on women. Worst money ever spent. Make them buy the hotel room.

Your car looks great as is. I never lowered my car because I don't want the headaches or the cost that go along with it. My car already scrapes when I park. You can keep your car stock and get a Double Din stereo and faceplate. You can blutooth, DVD, AUX, Ipod and USB and spend around 500 if you keep your stock speakers and amp. I changed my stereo out little by little with guidance from members on here (Thanks Wrathernaut) and it sounded really good with just the headunit swapped out. The stock Bose really, really, really sucks. My stereo system is the absolute best upgrade I have made and my Nismo Exhaust is second..
