Suspension Advice
So I recently purchased my 03 G35 with 139k miles on it and realized it was a little to low for my liking. It is on lowering springs I'm guessing 1- 1.5 inches below stock height. The problem is I have to drive through speed bumps and potholes on my daily commute and I'm afraid of the damage scrapping/bumping will do. What I want to do is get that back to stock height, but I'm conflicted on which route to go and my budget is very tight ($200 for parts). I think my options are 1. Get the original springs new or gently used, 2. Get the original springs and struts since the struts may be in bad shape or 3. Get some coilovers but my budget doesn't allow for it currently. What is my best option?

Zach best advice is to get springs installed, I doubt you'll need shocks for a while. You didn't post where you live, I have springs with less than 10K miles on them you could have cheaply since they're just taking up space here in SoCal! So springs and an alignment and your fear of damaging your G s/b a thing of the past...Gary

Ok guys I have an update. I've been able to secure some extra funds in the past few days and now have up to $600 to spend on this. I am thinking about getting the Tein Basis street's since they're in my price range, only question I have is what is the highest I can get them to go. A lower of less than 0.5 in probably won't get in the way of any speedbumps for me.
